This is a part II of the previous Blog "Painting with a Renewed Purpose." The two paintings above continue the theme of landscapes from where girls that are victims of human trafficking are from and then restored to. The true identity of the girls are hid in these Nepal landscapes. Artists are asked to portray the rescued victims in a positive light of hope. Statistics report there are 30 million people in this world experiencing injustice.

"Joy" 16 x 16 oil
"Pamela" 14 x 11 oil
The above 4 paintings are portraits of rescued girls. These paintings and many others will be part of exhibits called "Faces of Freedom" that will travel the country to bring awareness of human trafficking and raise funds as well. Their story of redemption is displayed along with each painting/portrait. Freedom 58 partners with organizations like CRU, International Justice Missions, Love Justice International, Agape International Mission and 10 Thousand Windows. I was personally amazed when I looked up International Justice Missions and saw the diverse work they did in not only rescuing, rehabilitating, but also prosecuting around the world. More artists are needed to tell the victims stories. Contact Bob Swenson at [email protected] to get involved. Its truly been a privilege to paint these works for this important purpose. Visit www.Freedom58Project.com to learn more and partner with them or any of the above organizations making an impact!
